Job Description

This position is a member of PartnerUp’s Executive Management Team and will own all marketing activities for PartnerUp.com. This will include managing all internet marketing, including campaign strategy, campaign development, media selection and buying, creative development (in collaboration with design resources), implementation/production, and ROI analysis/measurement of results. Be able to identify small business owner and entrepreneurial needs and contribute to PartnerUp’s product/solution roadmap.

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Responsible for creating PartnerUp’s master marketing plan, which includes interactive marketing plan, media plans, events, promotions, advertising, and marketing communication strategies.
  • Drive traffic (unique visitors and pageviews) growth for PartnerUp.com
  • Drive new member acquisition, at an acceptable member acquisition cost, for PartnerUp.com.
  • Identify and develop traffic driving opportunities to increase audience and reach.
  • Manage multi-million dollar marketing budget.
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns to drive enterprise software solutions and display advertising customer leads.
  • Identify partnership and cross-marketing opportunities, and coordinate these relationships.

Required Skills:

  • Substantial knowledge of, and experience with, internet marketing (including traditional/display advertising, sponsorships, SEM, CPC, CPA/CPL, content marketing, and affiliate marketing) is required
  • Web-savvy with a strong understanding of the blogosphere
  • Profitability focused creative, collaborative, detail-oriented, and forward thinking.

Education:

  • BS in business/marketing, or equivalent experience, required.
  • MBA, or equivalent experience, preferred.

Experience:

  • Substantial interactive marketing experience. A demonstrated history of creating and implementing marketing campaigns that drive positive results.
  • Previous agency or startup experience is preferred.
